“Lynn’s calm, spiritual nature comes through her hands and into her work. Her work is constantly evolving. My appreciation for Lynn and her work continues to grow the better I get to know her.”
- Claire
The ceramic pieces of Lynn Paccassi-Berry have evolved from 3-dimensional sculpture to framed wall pieces. Paccassi-Berry, a life-long ceramic artist, takes the evolution of her work in stride. “My most recent works are a progression of my panel wall sculpture pieces. My newest creations are meant to be hung on the wall next to other pieces of an art collection,” states Paccassi-Berry. She named these latest pieces, “Peregination” to reflect the definition of her artistic journey. Peregrination is defined “to journey or travel from place to place, usually for a long time and over great distances.” “These raku-fired pieces reflect the heart and soul of my artistic journey.
I am a third generation potter and clay is part of my family tradition.”explains Paccassi-Berry. Her extensive background in ceramics has led to shows throughout the United States and on many Caribbean Islands.
She has made St. Thomas home for eleven years with her husband Richard.
